Taxable and Non-taxable Multiple Items

We have hundreds of items and are often switching between taxable and non-taxable during sales. Is there an easier way to select tax or non-tax than to manually select modifiers for each item? If there was a button on the bottom like there is for discounts where you could select non-tax or something like that? Thanks!
