Descriptions on variations

I make skincare items and soaps. The way I have it set up is, for example, Item- Goat Milk Lotion then the options are scent and size for each variation. I would love to be able to have descriptions for each scent that would show up online. Some are easy like "Lavender Mint" but others are blends that I have created and have names like "Aura" or "Valhalla". In that case no one knows what to expect for the scent and I have lost sales because of this. Is there a way to add that?

I have a similar issue describing the Scents of my candles.

What I am doing is having an Item called Lilac with the variations of Size. Try looking into have a Category of Goats Milk Lotions with a Description of the Ovearall Lotaion. Then have items based on the Scent with it having a Description where the buyer could choose the Size.
