Square Terminal Questions

I'm considering upgrading from a reader to the Terminal. Does anyone know if this requires Wifi to work? I do a show where there's no wifi or even data access and my reader never works, so this is why I'm thinking of upgrading for next year. thanks!

I use the terminal. Have had it for about a year. Love it. Easy and hand held. It does require WiFi. Which makes it really awesome. I can check folks out curbside right now without a hitch. Pretty sure there's no other way to use it. Only requires the power cord. Hope that helps.

Yes, you will need to connect to wifi or a hotspot on your phone. We have 4 terminals and like them but it is the same interface as your phone so it is limiting as it doesn't have the grid like an iPad layout. So I guess I would say if you are using a phone now and it works there isn't a great reason to upgrade unless you want a printer which is built in to the terminal and works great.

Thank you for your feedback - if I can't get my phone to work up at that show, there's no point in paying extra $$ for a terminal right now. I do appreciate your honesty!

Hello, does anyone know how to raise the withdrawal and daily spending limits on it?

I ready someone had the mobile termsinal. They said something to the effect that you need WiFi. That’s not true. For 20 a month you can get cellular data plan and it works everywhere. Thank you.

I'm not sure I fully understand your question. Are you asking how to be enabled to take larger transactions on the Square Terminal?
