How do I set up a "discount code" or something similar?

I would like to occasionally give customers a $10 discount. Is there a way that I can give a "discount code" or something similar to the customer to allow them to pay with a reduced rate?

Alternatively, is there a way that i could discount their purchase by $10 after they have already ordered?

Happy to provide more insight and point you in the right direction. If you would like to create a discount code for your customers online, take a look at how you can get that done here. If you would like to create a discount code in your Square account, you can create and Manage Discount Codes directly from your Square Online Dashboard. Here you can also customize your codes by giving them a unique name.
