Welcome to the Seller Community!

Take a look at this article with more information on how to get started with QR codes. I haven't found a way to add a QR code to a receipt unless you upload a QR image in your receipt settings under "Upload Logo" (this is usually the place where you place your order) or in the order confirmation email .

If you would print a receipt that shows a qr code then customer could pay at their table instead of giving us a credit card which would be awesome and save the staff lots of time. Only problem is I guess the ticket wouldn't disappear from the register is what we would need to happen.

Hi Bryan! I will pass this along - I work on a slightly different use case for QR codes for restaurants but I will pass this along, I would really like the feature you are describing too.

Our museum would like to add a QR code to our printed receipts for a post-visit experience survey. It would be ideal to place this QR code at the bottom of the email with a short caption.

any updates on this feature? I own a restaurant and would love to give receipts with QR codes to have customers pay via their phone and the check would then close on the register. I think Toast has this feature and it is very popular currently. Highly recommended.

Hi there @Njolez - Thanks for following up on this thread. We do not currently have any receipt settings that can be manipulated beyond what's included on the Receipts page of your Square Dashboard. You can use QR codes in Square for your customers to complete orders through your Square Online Store, but we do not have QR codes just for payments. You can also send Payment Links to your customers to collect payments.

This would be a great way to get Google reviews- adding a QR code at the bottom of receipts! Hopefully this is something that Square will look into in the future!

hello all - I see as of May of this year that there really isn't anything like the original request for a changing barcode per order yet but I would like to print a static QR code on the receipt that simply takes them to my webpage shop. Is the upload QR code as logo the only suggestion that can do this?

Also, I am currently only running the free version of square for retail if that makes a difference (I only do a popup bookstore and online sales).

I know this was in the beta testing because I used it before. when will it be for all Square for Restaurants businesses?

I see that we can upload a logo picture on the top of the receipt, can you please add another picture to be uploaded to the bottom of the receipt too? this way we can upload a QR code to be used for other purposes. For example, a custom feedback form. (just need the qr code upload)
