How to avoid saved credit card fees

Please let us know if there's a simpler way than manually entering a customer's credit card for every sale when the card isn't present to avoid the fee for saving the card to your Square (3.5%+)

I feel the fee is unfair to my repeat customers and would like an explanation of what costs this fee covers..... Thanks in advance

You can use a card on file from the Point of Sale app, @stcneeds. Scroll down within the article I linked to the Charge a Card on File with the App section (or click the previous link) and it shows how to do that.
