How do I edit my SKU?

I want to print price labels through Square, however, I get an error that says my SKUs are too long and should be shorten. The problem is that the label is pulling in the description in addition to the SKU. When look to edit the SKU number on the item screen, it is the correct SKU number without the description.

For example, my SKU is 866 for the 9" Green Tree. In the print label screen, the SKU shows up as 9"GreenTree866. I'm using small labels so I have to only use the 866.

Do you have any suggestions?

Hi, hopefully this may help. Maybe add leading zeros to your SKU. It may be the SKU is really too short and its trying to fill in the character length.
