How do I set up a Buy One, Get One discount so that it applies multiple times within a transaction?

I see how to do buy 1, get 1 free but how do I Buy #, get same # Free (no matter how many they buy?)

Hi there @tgrin - are you asking about creating a Buy One, Get One discount for us through your Square Point of Sale app? If you, you can create the automatic discount to look similar to what's shown below:

Important things to ensure your discount works as expected:

Select % Amount and set it to 100%
Ensure that the Automatic Discount option is toggled ON
Set 1 as the quantity for both pieces of the Automatic Discount section

If you set it up as above, you'll see the discount(s) apply at checkout automatically. In this case, I added 4 Coffee Beans items to my cart, and 2 were automatically discounted:

Right. But then you can only use it once it seems. I need it to BOGO for an item but if customer purchases again then they can get another free. I don’t see this system working that way....?

I would like to be able to offer BOGO promotions on my online store. I need to be able to have it applied to only certain categories as well. It would also be nice to have a feature where I can do 20% off my entire website without needing a promo code.

Honestly, it doesn't help. Keisten asked about offering a BOGO on her online store. Your answer is specifically for POS like every answer before yours. It's truly a shame this functionality is on available for POS.

Would like to set up BOGO for multiple items. Currently only works for one item. If customer buys several items, would like it to apply to all items in cart. Thanks.
