New "Color" option for variation

I just saw I'm able to "color" as options for my online items. I like this option.

I tried to edit an existing item to use this color option feature but it won't let me. Is there a way to do this?

Are you saying that you're only seeing the new color options for newly created items? And not for existing items?

Correct. I opened an existing item on square online, it had the dropdown old-style variations where I typed in color names. There is no "Add option" button, where I can select colors and have it shown in my example above

Hi @aprild thanks so much for the screenshots. The ability to add options/colors to existing items in the online store is currently a feature request. You are correct that this can be done when creating a new item in the online store dashboard, but you will not be able to do this for the old items as they don't have the ability to add an option.

I've passed your feedback up to our development engineers for future releases.
