My website link to square store isn't working. I haven't published what do I do?

A customer was trying to go to my online store but when they did it showed error. Investigating, I realize I need to publish the store but what is the difference between publishing from my own previous domain or using a sub domain? Either way, am I still being charged a monthly rate to use my square site?

HI, did you adjust the DNS settings for the .com? The .com masks the subdomain.
