How do I import my square store categories?

One topic from Square says it is possible for a one time import of products by their categories already set up in our square store to our online store. I don't see anywhere how to make this choice and accomplish it. Trying to avoid the resetting up of all categories. Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks for your question, @Almanzo.

Are you using Square Online for your online store? Square Online syncs continuously, so you don't need to do any special kind of sync to be able to add items to your online store. To bring over your categories themselves, go to Items > Categories within your Square Online overview page, then click the Add Category button. You'll see an option to bring over categories from your Square Dashboard.

Hi, I am trying to do the same thing, but that option is not available when I select Add Category from the online overview. I have categories set up on my dashboard. I want to avoid the redundancy of setting up each category again for my online catalog.

Did you already sync your Square items to your Square Online dashboard during the onboarding process? I believe it is only possible to sync categories during this initial window.

I'm happy to look into it further for you, though. Can you please confirm the URL of your website for me?
