Tax Exempt

I know how to turn the tax off when I am using the App from Square, but I have switched to a terminal and I am not seeing how to turn the tax off. I still have the app on my personal Ipad and Iphone and I have been sending the invoices that way, but there should be an easy button when you set up the customers to just make them tax exempt. Is there a way to do this and I am missing it?

Hi @Kristyw94!! Thanks for reaching out. You should be able to remove tax from sales in the Square Terminal by tapping the "tax" option or the specific item on "review sale" and toggling it off. If you're wanting to create an invoice specifically from the Square Terminal, you can do that as well!

Now, if you want to have a specific group of customers that have sales tax removed when they are added to a sale, that is a feature request.
