HI, best advice is to contact UPS, FedEx and any other carrier in your area for their requirements. Frozen food would need to be shipped Overnight or 2nd Day Air. Also take into account time of year, area food is shipping to, food specific containers, dry ice, padding, product loss and product lost into your customer prices.

Hopefully these support pages will help.

We are a farm and cattle ranch who are trying to break into shipping. I've been doing all sorts of research for what carrier is best to use, and what insolation is needed to keep frozen foods frozen for 2-3 days. Our main size would be 12x12x5 (10lbs) and 11x5x5 (7lbs). Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

I don't ship frozen (just baked goods from time to time) but what I did when I started looking into it was order from a comparable competitor. I saw that carrier they used, the box, the insulation, etc. One of those "why reinvent the wheel" situations. Made it easy for me to start at least.

I did just receive a box of meat from Crowd Cow that was well done.

Hope that helps. Best of luck!
