Separating labor costs

Hi, I sell a lot of custom products. How can I separate the taxed portion from the non taxable portion. For example, I have custom baskets $65 in inventory. Of the $65; $40 is labor charge. Is there a way that would allow me to select this item and only tax the taxable portion?

Are you trying to separate labor during in-person sales using our Point-of-Sale app? Or for Online sales?

One thing you can do is create separate items, one for labor, one for materials, for example. Then make the non-taxable portion tax exempt.
