Square for Retail POS Reporting

Has there been a change on sales reporting options? Previously when I looked at month or year sales it would show a to-date comparison. For example year-to-date would show year-to-date compared to last year. now it appears it is showing this year-to-date number versus total year last year. Very confusing and I do not find an option to change.

Are you viewing the sales report from the Dashboard phone app or from Squareup.com? If from Squareup.com, which report are you selecting?

From Square Point of Sale App, not dashboard.

@RobinM You are referring to the Gross Sales report when you click 1Y?

I see what you are saying. This year clearly goes to today's date, but the comparison (last year) is the full year.

@isabelle Is this intentional? The app should provide a year to date option as well.

@HC_Charlie can you confirm what we're seeing?

@RobinM As a temporary solution, you can try downloading the Dashboard app. It still has a year-to-date report.

Let me know if the Dashboard app works for you.

Yes, on the Gross or Net sales, previously thus has always shown year-to-date against same last year. Something just changed in the last week or so that now shows against the full year.
