New google tracking

I'm trying to set up Google analytics on my site and the tracking ID they are giving me starts with G-TC..., they are removing universal analytics as of July 2023 according to their site. Is there a way to add this tracking new tracking id or code as square keeps giving me an error when I try? Has anyone else had luck adding this code or tracking id?
