How do you track donations?

We receive a lot of donation requests and I find it hard to track them all. But I think if there was a DONATION or DONATED ITEM selection available in the Edit Variation > Manage Stock > Stock Action it would be helpful. That way the wholesale and retail prices would be llsted, as well as the date.

I wish there was a Donation reason too. We track it by adjusting any donated items under LOSS since there is Damaged for outdated and damaged items, and Theft for stolen.

We use a discount code to track this. Our process was to create a discount of 100% - named it donations. We then ring all donated items up with that discount applied (being a 100% discount, there is no charge to the customer). This process allows us to run reports that show our donations over a time period of our choosing.
