Can a subscription create an order?

I've seen these posts that allow you to create orders with checkout links:

My question is, "is it possible to create orders from subscriptions I create inside SquareUp"? If so, how? If not, what is the recommendation for a customer who walks into our retail location and wants me to sign up for a subscription (we sell physical good subscriptions) that would allow us to do it on their behalf?

Great clarifying question and sorry I didn't write that better. SquareUp really to me meant "Square POS". I can see how a customer would self-serve a subscription that converts to an order through the checkout links BUT if a customer walks in and says "Hi I'd like to get a subscription every 2 weeks" then the only path I could find is to send them to the self-service path as I can't handle that on their behalf and have an order created. Any ideas?
