Square for Retail Plus for Android

I would love to switch to Square for Retail Plus, but I see it is only available for i-phone. All of our phones are Android. Will it ever come to Android? I don't see how I can use it until it does.

I was wondering the same thing. I'm paying for Retail plus but can't use the app. Now that I found out the register is Android, I'm wondering how to find and side load it.

Square for Retail Plus is available for iPad and iPhone running iOS 12 and higher and Square Register only. If you have already started a Retail Plus free trial or have an active Retail Plus subscription, you'll need to follow the steps here to activate Retail Plus on the Square Register.

When will it be available for Android? I don't want to buy another tablet/ register / iPad/ iPhone.

Can we sideload the apk since some of the Square hardware is running Android? I really don't want IOS.

Hello @Jambo I appreciate you reaching out. Square does not offer APKs for the custom-built application, you would not be able to accomplish this. I am sorry for the inconvenience, I understand iOS isn't everyone's preference and this would be a helpful option. If you need anything else let me know, I am happy to help.
