Discount based on variation price

Posting this here as I messaged support on Monday and still have not heard back. (passive-aggressive slam on Square support)

We need to set up a discount rule: if a variation costs $15 or more, discount by 15%.

We do not want to enter the discount manually on each item.

We cannot reorganize our items database to put all $15 in a specific category.

I have the feeling the answer it "Nope", but wanted to see if someone else may have solved this issue.

Unfortunately, you're correct in your "Nope" assessment. Square currently doesn't offer price-based conditional discount rules. Here's a breakdown of the situation:

- Category-based discounts
- Item-specific discounts
- Time-based discounts
- Customer group discounts
What's Not Possible:
- Price threshold-based automatic discounts
- Variation-based conditional discounts
- Dynamic pricing rules based on item cost
