Original amount on change screen

I always count back the change due (from cash trans) to the customer. But, I count up from the original total. Is there a way to show the original amount on the change due screen? Right now it only shows change due. When its busy, its hard to remember the original amount.

Hi Mspreema,

I don't believe there's a feature or option to do what you have in mind as that's the way system screen is designed. You can always submit a Feature Request here for future consideration. Square does look at these requests and if there's enough demand for an option or feature, it may be implemented. There's no guarantee but, always worth a try.

Just here to reiterate what @JK_Fiber_Art has proposed @mspreema - this is currently the way the checkout screen is designed.

You can post on the Feature Request boardwhere our product teams are always looking on how to bring more ease and efficiency to Square products.

I would like it as well. I have to print out a receipt to get the total to count back change.
