I need to create variations in an item that combine multiples of items and tracks the number sold.

Actually this item is a combination 12 items that are sold as a set, and I offer variations of 1,2,3,4,or 5 sets. But I need to keep track o f the individual 12 items sold. Anyone have any suggestions?

As I see this is your first post welcome to the sellers community forum.

If you subscribe to Square for Retail (Paid) Version you could do the Square Bundle.

Now I am not sure if this will create a Variation or a New item. It has been awhile since I set up my bundles. But this does work when selling for me 1 Candle, Liquid Soap, Shea Butter, and a Lotion that all have about 10 different varieties and I need to track Quantity sold of each variation (Scent or Type etc). I just looked at one of my Gifts sets and you can create a Variation for it but not sure if when I do a Gift set, The gift set could be a variation of a Gift set. For example I have a Gift set Item as 1 soap, 1 Candle, 1 Lotion and 1 Shea Butter of XYZ scents, Could i make the same Gift Basket (bundle) as a Variation with different scents say ABC scents? I am not sure.

The other option would be to create Automatic discounts of the Item.

If 1 is sold it is X

if 2 are sold the Price is x- ( a % or $ amount)

if 3 are sold the price is X - ( a % or $ amount)

etc

You can choose the Item or Category of items for these discounts.
