Updating product information using GTIN details

I uploaded a CSV file with all of our products, approximately 600 books. I started adding new items with a barcode scanner and noticed that it pulls product photos and descriptions automatically. Is there a way to update all of the information of the products that I imported via CSV file without manually deleting them and readding them through the barcode scanner interface?

That would be great if there was an update items by GTIN feature like the Create SKU for items missing a SKU.
