Receive Inventory with Barcode Scanner

I am attempting to get a better handle on our incoming and outgoing inventory. I have setup a barcode scanner in the hope of scanning in stock. I have read on Square's FAQ/Help Section that there IS a way to do this, but I have been unsuccessful (see link below).

I'm not sure what step I'm missing or what I am simply doing incorrectly. I subscribed to Square for Retail Plus, but I am still in my trial period. I assume this is not why I have not been able to locate the feature?

Any help would be much appreciated. I have looked through tutorial videos and other forums, but am coming up short.

When you open the Retail app, tap on inventory, then in the upper right hand corner tap receive stock. Then next screen you can either scan the barcode with a barcode scanner or use the iPad camera. Scan the barcode of the item you want to add stock to, then enter the total amount you are receiving of that item.
