Can you open a ticket and save it in retail mode and open that saved ticket on a device in restaurant mode? I keep hearing no, but if there is a Square staff here, can you please confirm or let us know if it is in the works? Thanks!

That would be a really useful feature! Hopefully someone from Square can clarify whether cross-mode ticket syncing is supported or planned for the future.

This would be incredibly beneficial for businesses that operate in both Retail and Restaurants. The ability to start a ticket in one mode and seamlessly continue it in another would improve workflow, reduce duplicate work, and create a more connected experience across Square’s ecosystem.

A unified ticket system across modes would save time and make day-to-day operations much smoother for businesses using multiple Square products.
