thread Club Member Discount in Orders, Menu Items, Catalog & Fulfilment

I want to use the Square Register at my sports club bar. Put simply, members will get a discount of between 5% and 15% on food and beverage purchases. Visitors who are not members don't get a discount.

The discounts are amounts rather than a single percentage. This would look like 0.50 off a 5.00 beer, 0.20 off a 1.80 soda, 0.40 off a 4.60 malt whisky.

I can set up the discount to apply the correct discount to the product, but this happens automatically for all sales. I only want to apply the discount to member sales. The other ways to do this is to apply a standard discount rate automatically (which I don't want as there is not a single discount rate). I can also allow a bespoke discount to be applied by the bar tender at the register, but that will take time and will be inaccurate.

So, my question is this. Is it possible to add two discount factors. 1 is a question at the register (Is the customer a member?) - this will toggle the preset discounts which I will have linked product by product.

The only other way to do this as far as I can see is to load the menu twice into the Item Library. First entry will be full price. Second set will have all the same items, possibly prefixed with M. to indicate member pricing to the bar tender. I can then assemble the full price items on one menu, and set up a separate 'Members Menu' - keep it simple for the bar tender.

Anyone do something similar, and have any tips or advice? Thanks
