thread POS ordering - pause stuck in Orders, Menu Items, Catalog & Fulfilment

This has happened repeatedly now. I just got off the help chat after an hour and no clear guidance or fix still so as to prevent it from happening again.

I'm a one-person home-based kitchen open weekends only, and rely almost 100% on online fulfillment. I'm setup so that customers can order up to 14 days in advance to schedule their pickup or delivery during my business hours (Sat, Sun 11am-8pm). I give myself a 30-minute fulfillment time but the order scheduling is only given in 15-minute intervals (Square does not allow you to adjust this currently). This means that customers are offered pickup/delivery times every 15 minutes. As a one-person home kitchen, my workaround has been to pause ordering for 15-30 minutes on my POS app to give myself a little extra time to catch up.

On multiple occasions, it wasn't until a customer called me to ask me if I'm open and informed me that they can't place an order online. On this occasion, I paused ordering for 30 minutes last Sunday, pausing orders until 7:20pm. It was stuck on pause until just a few minutes ago, one week later. I got passed around six different tech agents on the support chat and spent over an hour. None of them could give me a clear answer or fix. When I asked what they did to "unpause" they said they really didn't do anything. During the chat session, I turned off delivery. I'm wondering if that had anything to do with clearing up whatever glitch in their system.
