Square for Retail iOS app: Add Item, Vendor, Variation Photo

Hey Everyone.

I usually add and edit items from a computer, never the Square for Retail iOS app. But I wanted to quickly try to add a photo to an item variation from my phone... I didn't see the option.

Also, I wanted to check who the vendor is for the item.... I don't see Vendor box listed.

Am I missing something, or does the iOS app not have those capabilities?

I think in the app, you can't add additional photos, only the tile photo. I was going to suggest for the vendor to add them in the variations, but I think the vendor will then show up on receipts. I would like to see all desktop functionality come to the ios software, especially now that the handheld has a camera built in and I would like to see photo studio built in to remove the backgrounds of photos.

Yes, yes, yes. Those additions would streamline our flow.

Currently we take pictures on our iPhone, edit them in the Photoroom app, transfer to desktop, and then put them into Square.

Hey there, @TCSlaguna! @rtfulk, is correct; this functionality isn't available outside of Desktop at this time. I recommend you submit a Feature Request here. This will help our product team get visibility and track other Sellers with similar interests in your request.
