Variations Not Alphabetizing?

Hey all! So in one of the newer updates, the variations are no longer alphabetizing specifically when you scan a barcode so it's making checkout take a LONG time.

Example: one barcode, like a line of stickers, has multiple variations like this:

It's clearly alphabetized in the system and if you go find it at check out by typing in "sassy animal stickers" then the list populates. But if you scan the barcode (which used to pull up the same list alphabetized) it's now all over the place so you have to hunt through the options to find it.

Doesn't sound that bad until you are hunting through 50 dog bandanas trying to find the one to click at checkout during the holidays....Is there a way to correct? I've even deleted and trying to create from scratch but no luck. Again, this is a change from a few months ago that hasn't shaken back out from an update.

Hi @BeastiesRVA !

I'm taking a look into this to see if this is expected behavior. I know with our food and beverage sellers, they don't want anything alphabetized because then sizes (S, M, L) would should up incorrectly. Let me get with some engineers and see what they have to say.

Thank you so much I really appreciate it! The variation order we are selecting the order so it should match at ringing so that should mean that it could work for everyone? If I didn't want it alphabetized, I put in in another order and it matched at check out. That's what it used to do, this is new within the last few months. Thank you so much for checking on this for us!
