Mark an item as split or shared plate

Hi! We're getting set up with Square in our small restaurant, and a common request from guests is to split or share their dinner. What is the best way to make that easy for servers to mark on items for the kitchen to see?

Hello @TubsPub !

For random requests like this (along with things like No Mayo, Extra Tomato, etc), I created a modifier group called "Tweak Your Meal."

When you add that modifier group to the item, you can make it an optional modifier (you don't have to choose one to complete the order) by not forcing a maximum or minimum amount of items chosen. For Extra items, you can add price updates here too.
