Is it possible to runt an Inventory Report from a past date in Square Retail (Free)

I currently use Square Retail (Free) solution. I'm able to generate an inventory report via the following navigation path (items>items library>Actions>Export Library) instantly. However, is there a way to generate this report for a past date in Square (Retail (Free)?

In Square the simple answer is NO. You can not look back on a date to see how much of an item you Had, or the $ amount.

You would need these in your accounting software if it can also do inventory. Squares Inventory system lets you know how much an Item cost, Sells for and the amount in stock currently. In the reports there is no way to look back in your catalog to a certain date.

The only way I know to do this is to export your Catalog daily, Add a column for the days Date you down loaded the file in your csv file. Then using Excel and power query have each day appended to each other and then filter by date in a pivot table. Yes this is a lot of added work which is why I recommend using your accounting software that has the Inventory function also.

The catch is you need a way that exports Item Sales and Quantities also to your accounting software so that when you sell 3 Widget through Square, 3 Widgets are also deducted from your accounting Softwares inventory as a sold item.
