Discounts on e gift cards "For Multiple People"

Hi,

I am trying to set up a discount/promo on my e gift cards. I want to allow customers to get a discount on orders over $100 of multiple gift cards. I have set up a code that allows a discount but it only applies when each individual gift card is $100. However, I want it to apply to orders of a total of $100 i.e. 4x $25 cards.

Is this possible? Or alternatively is it possible to apply a code to the cart when the amount is totalled rather than the cards?

Hi there @pbbakery.. So, I'm assuming that you are referring to customers ordering eGift cards online and not on your store POS. Unfortunately, as you mentioned, neither the standard discount NOR the discount code sections of the card promotions screen allow for this. Both require all cards in the cart be at least the minimum load in order for the discount to apply. Honestly, I consider this a design flaw, but it is what it is.

For now, all you can do is head over to the feature request board and submit a request. This will get the ball rolling. Fair warning, this will NOT be fixed for the holiday season, even if it is accepted. And I can't think of a possible workaround, either, I'm afraid.
