Sales for individual items

There has got to be an easy way to see individual sales numbers for items. Trying to organize and sift through Squares terrible Reports system is a nightmare.

I should be able to scan or search and item and in the info for the item it should show sales sales trends etc. easy peasy right in the info for the item.

It looks like Toast POS shows the sales data right in the individual item page. This makes soooo mush sense.

I don't know why Square is so difficult to manage and deal with. I thought this was the industry leader here.

It sounds like you're looking for the Item Sales report. This report shows details for all items sold including gross sales, net sales, SKUs, discounts and total sold. If you are on Square for Retail Plus, you have access to the following reports as well: Cost of Goods Sold, Projected Profit, Vendor Sales, Inventory by Category and Inventory Sell-Through. (These reports are not available with Square for Retail Free.)

Yes, I do see and have played with the Item Sales Report. Just hoping there is an easier way to see items sales for an item.

When you scan an item there should be a section to show sales and ideally sales per week pulled from say last qtr sales to help see on the floor how well individual items are selling
