thread Multiple barcodes to 1 SKU in Orders, Menu Items, Catalog & Fulfilment

I use multiple vendors to supply my goods. They all carry the same items (let's call it "ABC") but instead of leaving the barcode alone, they cover it up and issue their own in-house barcode. So now, I have 3 entries using up to 3 different barcodes and 3 different SKUs for the same item.

I sell online, but can only sell 1 of these items. The other 2 will be out of stock. But sometimes vendor 1 doesn't have so I have to go to vendor 2 with a different barcode.

Same product, different barrcode.

Is there a way to "integrate" mu;tiple barcodes to a single SKU?

Thanks

John

You could do them as variations of 1 item, then only 1 supplier would be out of stock, you could receive them under 1 internal sku or UPC and label them with a barcode internally (square sells printers that can print from purchase order or library)
