&lt;P&gt;I put through a few test orders on the Retail App just now and I had a read of our &lt;A href="https://squareup.com/help/gb/en/article/6614-manage-online-orders-with-square-for-retail" target="_blank"&gt;Manage Online Orders with Square for Retail&lt;/A&gt; article, and it appears for orders taken in person, an automatic order number is not generated.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I would suggest searching the customer's name to locate the order instead. Feel free to put through a Feature Request on our &lt;A href="https://www.sellercommunity.com/t5/Square-for-Retail/idb-p/square-for-retail-uk" target="_blank"&gt;Ideate Board &lt;/A&gt;so our product team have visibility on the need for a feature like this.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>Retail order - where is the order number?</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi All,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We are just getting started with Square for Retail. Some of our items are ordered (think gift subscriptions) and instead of taking down the delivery information there and then, we process the order for delivery at a later date.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The idea is that the purchaser is given an order number, the order number is then phoned in by the gift recipient and the order dispatched at a later date. Does anyone know where I can see the order number from the Active Orders screen (iOS)?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
