Print barcode labels from Apple iPad

Hello,

I want to move to Square for retail but am concerned about compatibility with barcode labels as both stores use iPads as point of sale devices.

Can barcode labels be printed from the counter iPads? Or will we have to have a different computer out back to connect and print labels from? Neither of the two recommend label printers seem to be iOS compatible.

We have a few options for barcode labels and printers with Square for Retail Plus.

The supported ones and their dimensions are listed here, Zebra, Dymo and Avery. It's important to note that Avery labels can be hard to source in the UK.

I don't believe this can be done via iPad so these printers would need to be connected to your computer.
