Search inventory Option Set

Hi all, I'm sure I'm missing something simple, but I can't find a way to search my Square inventory by Options Set using my Terminal EPOS or via the web interface.

I sell jewellery, and I have Option Sets for variations of each piece such as:

Metal (silver, yellow gold, rose gold)
Ring Size (J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W)
Gemstone (diamond, sapphire, ruby, etc)

When a customer asks me what I have in stock in a particular size, or in a particular metal, or using a particular gemstone, I'd like to be able to quickly search my inventory using the relevant Option Set.

However, I can't see a way to do this. I contacted Support and was told this wasn't possible, but it seems to be a rudimentary function and I'm thinking there must be a workaround.

Any suggestions would be very welcome 🙂

I'm kinda answering my own question here, but a more elegant suggestion would be welcome!

After some tinkering, the main problem was the "ring size" Option Set - just searching for "M" unsurprisingly turned up any word with M in it. But if I used "sizeL, sizeM, sizeN, etc" in my Option Set and search for "sizeM" then that works OK.

However, this only works on the website Items Library - the search function on the Terminal EPOS search function is quite limited - and I'd prefer not to have to go into the website and/or give employees admin access.
