TAX & VAT analysis

I use Square for restaurants and would like to find a report that shows a breakdown of sales of VAT-exempt and VAT-able items paid by card and do the same for paid in cash.

Might anyone know if this is possible, if it is not - how do you guys report this?

A report that shows a summary of the taxable vs non-taxable item per sale is a feature request.

With Square Reports, you can download a . CSV file of the sales tax associated with your transaction history, however, it is an accumulative report, rather than a breakdown per sale.

I tried to build a custom report to see if there was a way to create what you are looking for, but no luck unfortunately.
