Terminal Connected to Square for Restaurant

Hello, is there any plans to be able to use a terminal to take payments when connected to the square restaurants app on my iPad (with the stand) and when this will happen? as i know it only works for the Square POS now.

Im looking to upgrade and use the restaurants subscription as we only use the open tickets bit in the POS app. as our stand is behind a bar on the opposite side so customers could not type pins in so the terminal is great for the chip and pin.

Correct, at the moment, only the Square Point of Sale app can be connected to the Square Terminal. I don't have a timeline on when this feature will be available for Square for Restaurants or our other apps, but we know it's a popular request.

If we do have any updates, we'll be sure to update you here on these threads! It sounds like the Point of Sale app and the standalone KDS might be the best solution at the moment.. but let me know what you think.
