Hi Square Fam..

Has anyone worked out how to do a stocktake at the EOFY? I can't find any info and can't find a way to do one, so of course it's never done, but I really need to be doing one for my business financials at the end of the financial year.. TIA 🙂

I'm wondering the same thing. I spoke to "Support" yesterday and said you need to go into each item and alter the QTY.
1. My thinking is to get a barcode scanner,
2. scan all your stock and record it in excel
3. Use the "CountIF" function to work out the amount of times each bar code has appeared.

4. Export your library into excel (Top right from the screen) https://squareup.com/dashboard/items/library)

5. Pair up the barcodes qty with column "Current quantity"

6 Save and upload the file into your item library.

I know this is a backwards way of doing it, but it's better than the suggestion I got from SquareSupport, who were helpful as much as they could

In saying that I think it is stupid that Square hasn't made a function for this already, really think they should, especially considered they are selling barcode scanners for AUD$359 (while you can get ones for $40 on wards online). Hint Hint Nudge Nudge Square. A simple thing to improve the platform even more.
