    <description>&lt;P&gt;I have done everything to get the reader gen2 to connect to Square. &amp;nbsp;There are so many conflicting information out there. &amp;nbsp;And I have taken it out of the box!!!!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So if I go to BT settings on device Square Reader 2050 will show. BUT it will not pair. &amp;nbsp;So I’ve read that you do not connect BT from your settings you have to go into Square. Ok, I go to settings/hardware on Square. All it has is “learn more” so you tap on that. It takes you to the BT settings on Galaxy Tab!! &amp;nbsp;So frustrating. I’ve had this thing for a month no one can get it to connect. HELP!!! &amp;nbsp;Any encouragement for me not to chuck this in the bin will be greatly appreciated. Thanks&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P style="margin: 0; padding: 0px !important;"&gt;Firstly, we recommend ensuring your device is compatible with the Square reader by using the search tool on this &lt;A href="https://squareup.com/au/en/compatibility" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;page&lt;/A&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P style="margin: 0; padding: 0px !important;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P style="margin: 0; padding: 0px !important;"&gt;Once you've confirmed your device is compatible, follow the below steps.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P style="margin: 0; padding: 0px !important;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P style="margin: 0; padding: 0px !important;"&gt;1. Check if the app needs to be updated (if updates are needed, install and then reopen the app, if not close the app for now).&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I’ve have done all of the above. The problem is in the Square app more/settings/hardware/square reader&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;it doesn’t show any reader all it has is “learn more”. Then you click on that then it takes you to Bluetooth settings on Tab A8. &amp;nbsp;So if you try and connect to the reader from the A8 settings it finds the device but does not pair. &amp;nbsp;I know you connect through the square app. I’ve done everything to get this to work and nothing works. &amp;nbsp;I have updated all the apps as well and yes it’s charged. &amp;nbsp;The card reader is gen 2 0205. &amp;nbsp;I’ve been on the compatible list it says Samsung Tab A8 is compatible. &amp;nbsp;Have lost too many credit card payments not having this working. &amp;nbsp;The first reader I had I thought it wasn’t working so I got another one and still the same problem. Help!!&lt;/P&gt;</description>
