How do I apply a discount on Square for Retail POS on Square Register?

I have some discounts set up for one of my locations (Uniform Shop), they show up if I boot the Square Register in POS mode, but when I boot it in Square for Retail mode, I cannot see any discounts. So, they are activated for the location (as can see them in POS app), but I can't see how to apply them in the Square for Retail mode.

In Square POS I get this with the add discount option:

Hi @nvshs, thanks for reaching out!

While you can apply discounts from the Checkout tab on Square Point of Sale by pressing the Add discount button, the method for applying discounts is a little different on Square for Retail. Here’s how it works:

Add Discounts to Your Favourites List

The Favourites List gives you access to your most popular items and actions in one tap so there’s no need to manually search for every sale. To edit your Favourites List:

From the navigation bar, tap More.
Tap Settings > Favourites > Edit Square for Retail Grid.
Tap on one of the + buttons and select Action > Discounts.
Once you’re all set, tap Done to return to the Checkout tab.

Add a Discount to a Sale

Once you’ve added discounts to the Favourites grid, you can apply them to your sales:

From the checkout, tap the Discounts quick tile in the Favourites grid.
Select a discount to add it to your sale.

Add Discounts to Individual Items

If you’d like to apply a discount to a single item:

Add the item to the cart, then tap on the item in the cart.
Tap Apply Discount.
Select the discount to apply.
