    <description>&lt;P&gt;I have implemented square. This is what I found if anyone is interested.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. Use square website login (Square Dashboard) to setup and configure the restaurant.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. Use Square Register for POS for main counter - It comes with the card scanner. There is no need to buy any other square payment processing related equipment.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3. For waiters, use Square for Restaurant app installed in an iPad. You can have multiple iPad. Each iPad need to be created as a Device by using Square web dashboard. Square for restaurant app is not available for iPhones, Android Phones, Android Tablets.&amp;nbsp; Waiting staff can take orders by using the iPads.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;4. For Kitchen, use Square KDS. It is available in Square Plus plan. Fully worth it, because it removes all manual written slips. KDS is an iPad tablet app. I am using an iPad Pro 12.9 screen for this because it needs space to line up tickets. KDS is not available for Android Tablets, Phones or iPhones.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Is there a square standard or a 3rd party app to take table orders? (not the qr code based contact less self ordering)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This is to replace waiters writing on manual papers and then having to enter in square register POS again.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;QR codes are the at-table ordering solution we currently have in place - this means that orders can be sent directly from the table into the POS, via the customer scanning a QR code.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;What sort of solution are you looking for? If you're looking for a waiter to enter the orders at a table, they can do this via the Square POS app on a phone or Terminal using the &lt;A href="https://squareup.com/help/au/en/article/5337-use-open-tickets-with-square" target="_blank"&gt;Open Tickets&lt;/A&gt; function!&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;My question is not about self-service (qr code) ordering. One of your team members contacted me today and he has confirmed me that the way to do table ordering is to use the square restaurant POS in an iPad.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
