Automated Service Charge for Weekends and Public Holidays

Hello team,

What is everyone doing in regards to weekend/public holiday service charge?

Seems archaic that we have to manually add to each table for each service instead of it being automatically programmed in.

Does anyone have a great workaround?

Hi @LOTIRestaurant ,

Service charges can be configured under 'Business Information/Service charges' ironically this is not supported on Square for Restaurants, which is the platform I think needs it most.

There was discussion in regard to that here:

It seems that the Auto gratuity settings would do what you want but I'm guessing that it would be shown on the receipt as gratuity.
