Square for Restaurants, linking table numbers with QR self ordering

I am keen on using the self ordering QR system for customers to order drinks from the table, but not food. How do I link the table numbers in QR setup to the table numbers in Square for Restaurants? This would allow customers to pay 1 bill at the end for both items ordered via a waiter and via the QR code.

As far as i'm aware Customers aren't able to actively add to a 'ticket' via a QR. If you use the QR ordering system, payment is required at the end in order to finish the transaction and progress the sale to the POS.

Thanks, this would be too frustrating for clients having to pay 2 bills. A shame as was thinking it would be a great way to help with staff shortages. Oh well.
