We would like to train staff on the Sqare Restaurant Cash Register prior to going live.

Does Square have a SandBox that can be used fopr training?

If not, any suggestions would be appreciated.

Great question!

While we don't currently provide a dedicated training mode for Square apps, we've compiled a comprehensive guide outlining the best practices for effectively training your employees on Square.

In the past, we've recommended processing transactions as 'cash', and then refunding those transactions for bookkeeping purposes. Another option is to process card payments for $1 for training purposes. Again, these can be refunded.

I've included a link to one of our Square for Restaurant training videos. Additionally, we have a variety of video tutorials available on our YouTube channel, so I encourage you to explore them for further assistance.
