What is wrong with the email editor interface? Emails that go out look nothing like previews.

I spend a lot of time designing an email in the interface. I look at the phone preview provided on the right side and it looks like what I want. Then I send a test email (or god forbid a live email to my full list) and it comes out looking like a 1997 HTML 3 disaster. All fonts changed, colors all defaulted to black, everything bold.

What is that?

Email marketing has had this solved for years.

Even the Square interface used to be OK.

I'm stuck using the service because of the email list being owned by Square, but please let me send them something that looks decent!

Hmm @pieinthesky, that doesn't sound right. Square Marketing emails should look just like preview. It sounds like you're sending yourself a preview as a test. What email provider are you using? Or if you're using an email client like Google/Yahoo what browser do you use?
