Items not showing underneath a category that I have them listed under in square online?

Items are not showing underneath a category I have them listed under in square online. I can even go to the category and see the items listed however they are not showing there in my online store.

Hello @akittrell !

I have a couple of things to check:

-On the items, verify that you have the site visibility and your site activated under the Where It's Sold section.

-Your browser may be showing you an older version of the page. This is especially noticeable if you've been doing a lot of work on the site. Check your site in incognito mode or with a different browser to see if the items show.

-I've seen times where it takes a few minutes for your changes to go live on the site. Check again to see if there's been a change.

If none of those work, please reply with your website address. We may be able to see something off from a customer side to continue troubleshooting.

Same issue as OP. The issue started when they merged the Items with Online Items. Now I can't select in Online Items where I want the item to appear, under which menu and everything just appears under All Items.

I've already tried multiple browsers, Private Mode, cache cleared, waited, etc. but the items never appear under the menu items I they should and there is no way to do it now in Online Items like before.

Yeah, the "All Items" thing can get frustrating to say the least. It took me the better part of three days to fully figure out why items were getting dropped there instead of in their categories.

Here's what I figured out:

-If you are using subcategories, the subcategory inherits the online settings of the parent category. So if you have your items in subcategory A with online visibility enabled but Parent Category B doesn't have online visibility enabled, all your items will show in the All Items section.

-You may want to check the category chosen on some items. When my account had the category transfer, all my subscriptions and events lost their categories. That caused them to show in the All Items section.

If those two things don't solve the problem, please respond with your website address. We may be able to see something from the customer side that we can troubleshoot. Otherwise, your best bet would be to contact customer support. They can dig into the back end of your site to see what we've missed.

Thanks, but those are all good, all are set to online visible, not using subcategories, all are top level categories. This issue only started when they merged Items with Online Items, and the Categories with the Online Categories.

@hohverona How interesting! If I'm navigating your site correctly, it looks like only the Apparel Store is the one having issues? I see items in every other category.

Let's test something: first, try unpublishing your site then republishing it. That may solve this glitch by forcing the servers to reload the data.

Next, If you move the two items in the Apparel Store category to another category, do they show then? If so, I'd say try deleting the current Apparel Store category and recreating it. Again, unpublish and republish your site to ensure the latest data. If not, there is something going on with those items. Try deleting and recreating them.

No, all the categories are having issues. Products are not displaying at all or without the options to select size, color, etc prices are showing as $NaN, items are showing as out of stock but clearly have stock, etc. it a laundry list of issues.

Moving items between categories does not change anything, they still do not show up. The "Apparel Store" category was a new category just created yesterday as a test and the two products added to it as a test to see if they would appear there, all tests failed. So deleting them and re-creating them would be pointless.

Ok I misunderstood @hohverona

I definitely recommend contacting customer support then, this is definitely something that got misconfigured when the item and category migration happened. They’re going to have to do some digging and potentially open a trouble ticket.

You may need to call in a few times until you get a tech that understand what problems you’re having, but once you do the fix should be relatively painless

I contacted square and that helped get my existing items back in order. However I added 5 new items and now they are not even showing up in any section including the "shop all" section as they did before. I will follow up as I get this issue resolved.

Square Weebly Online didn't help me but, my son figured it out. You have to go to Categories on your Dashboard, click on the Category, under Items, click on Add or remove items and add the new Item there. Go back to your Online and refresh.

I am having the same issue. I have 41 items in a catagory, added that catagory to my featured items on the website. At first only 1 item showed but since 4 more have magically showed up. The rest are still available in shop all but I want them to be shown when they click on the catagory like I set them up. Obviously some sort of glitch.
