Where can I find out what is included in updates to the software? I keep finding things moved, changed and I would like to know when, where and what is changing.

I am also finding the newest update - with, as far as I know - gave us no notice - to be very disruptive and confusing - it’s like learning the register layout all over again 😞 I really would have appreciated a heads up, and possibly even the choice with if/when to update.

You would think they would have some sort of update log but they don't have one. A lot of people have asked for more transparency with the updates in the past but Square doesn't seem willing to put in the small amount of effort it would take to give us a heads up.

@StuartC @ndixon @YES_EcoSource appreciate everyone's feedback here! There is a channel log in your dashboard called 'What's new at Square' which shows every new update that was made. Hopefully this helps in terms of keeping you up to date on the latest changes.

I'm also going to share this feedback with the team so that they're aware and for any future considerations too!

Hi! Thanks for pointing us to the “what’s new at Square” thread. Unfortunately, that thread does not cover any of the changes that were made to the user interface of the register. Those were the changes that were most disruptive, especially as they were rolled out with no warning and no explanation. Where can we find a list of changes (with explanations for the changes) to the end user interface? Thanks!

Thanks for your patience here. Just followed up with the team and they mentioned that the 'Whats New at Square' feed is the closest thing we have currently for updating on latest releases. However, I am reaching out to more team members with your feedback and to see if there is anything else on the horizon that we can share.

As a follow up it would be nice to know when software changes how to find/use/setup the updates. Seems many updates are unadvertised with no instructions.
