Transaction level Export report for Caviar API which includes Caviar Order IDs?

To reconcile Caviar orders, I need to find the Caviar Order ID in both Square Transactions and Caviar Payout reports. By definition, this is a Transaction report.

You can drill into the UI in the Square transaction webportal and find the Caviar Order ID, but it's not appearing in reports.

HELP!

Steps to reproduce:

1) Caviar API is setup, and it is a visible 'source' in Summary Sales and other reports.

2) Transaction report in the webportal for a given day include Caviar transactions.

3) Double click on a transaction in the webportal, and the Caviar Order ID is visible. This can be verified with the bi-weekly Caviar Payout report.

4) Export this list of transactions, but you will not find the Caviar Order ID listed which matches the Caviar Payout report.

@xtiansimon Caviar Order IDs are not exported to Square Reports. Reach out to Caviar for those details. The order ID referenced in the link you included is specific to the order ID generated by Weebly.

Caviar Order IDs are not exported to Square Reports. Reach out to Caviar for those details.

Here is a screen shot from a friend showing the Caviar Order ID in Square. The data is available in Transactions, but I can't find a way to get the Order ID into the export report. Seems like it would be a good idea, too.

The order ID referenced in the link you included is specific to the order ID generated by Weebly.

Funny--I don't see Weebly referenced anywhere on the page. Regardless, the section I refer to, Order Reporting has steps to view transactions, and these instructions are correct for Caviar API orders as well:

To view reporting information by source:

Head to Reports in your online Square Dashboard.
In the Display By and Filter By section of your reports, you’ll see the option to Display by Source.

I'm not sure what you're referring to Justin, but please take a look at the screen shot for proof that Square has the data in their system. The question is how can we get it into a useful report?

First things first, I would echo Justin and suggest reaching out to Caviar for more information refarding Caviar API and order ID questions.

In regards to exporting a CSV with the order idea registered to Caviar, this would currently be considered a Feature Request, but I am more than happy to pass it along to our Product Teams for visibility!
